The 11th Chelmsford Scout Group Website

We meet on a Friday night at 7:15pm until 9:15pm in Gloucester Avenue Scout Hut (opposite the parade of shops)

From September 2008 Scouts will be Held on Wednesdays from 7pm until 9pm.

We are currently running at 19 Scouts. At this present moment in time we do not have any room for new members but as the Scouts reach the upper age limit new openings become available.
We do have a waiting list and if you wish to be added, or you wish your child to be added, please contact us via email
, and one of the leaders will get back to you as soon as possible with further details.

Please also be aware that Scouts is an Equal Opportunities Organisation and as of 1st January 2007 girls are now allowed to participate in any scouting activity and join any Scout group.


Our Activities Include:

Archery;
Backwards Cooking;
Local Camps;
International Camps;
Hikes;
Visits;
District Events;
Gang Show:
And Many More.

 

Subs for Each term is £25 due the first week of each new term.
For the first term at Scouts the subs will be £30 to cover administration and registration costs aswel as the cost of the badges that will be awarded throughout each Scouts time with us.

 

Four of the Adult Leaders are GNAS Qualified Archery Instructors.
The Scouts have the facilities to participate in Indoor Archery throughout the year under the supervision of any of the Four Instructors.

 

All of the Leaders are First Response Trained.
